The listing, ANTIQUE VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER CHANGE PURSE has ended.

I have another one!!! This one is even nicer and completely intact, down to the four balls at the bottom. The mesh is intact, as is the frame.

It is 2” wide and 3” long. It weighs 24.926 grams. It is marked sterling, but most of the marking has worn away.

Imagine the woman who kept her change in here 125 years ago!

So is the whole thing sterling silver ? I’ve don’t think I’ve ever seen one but it sure cool that’s for sure, when you wrote that about 125 yrs ago, my mind flashed back to the picture of the titanic when it left the port, all them men with there top hats and the lady’s in there flashy dresses, you know some of them women had one of these ya know !! The way it’s made with all them little hoops I bet it took some patience making it !! Really cool !!
