Description

The listing, Grape Hyacinth - Muscari armeniacum x 20+ bulbs from my yard has ended.

These bulbs are in my yard under my Maple tree and in the front flower bed right now and spreading rapidly. I would like to share them with other Listians.

If you're looking for a hardy, no-care, plant to forget, look no further. Load up on Muscari. These small bulbs are so winter hardy and easy to grow, No garden should be without them,

The best known species of Muscari or Grape hyacinth are so named because their clusters of small, bell shaped cobalt-blue flowers look like clusters of upside down grapes.

Grape Hyacinth has a lovely fragrance. The more you plant, the more fragrance you will get.

They will naturalize and spread extremely easy.

Grape Hyacinth are all-round flowers. They are excellent as cut flowers, in rock gardens, beds, borders, under shrubs and trees and can be used for indoor forcing.

Bulbs should be planted at least 3" deep and in a location where water cannot settle in winter . They should be planted in full sun to shade at least 3-4" deep.

Plant bulbs in a well drained medium. Water it and then let it sit dry all summer. You should get good germination in the winter. Some growers prefer to sow them in the fall and water continuously until winter rainfall takes over.

I will only ship to a verified Listia shipping address. If you have not verified your address with Listia, please do so before bidding. NO EXCEPTIONS.
