You should cover yourself, and take this to your jeweler to look at before sending to a winner. (99.9999999% chance it's plated, not sterling.) I had 38 of them a year ago. All marked 925, and all plated alloy... (They now mark them S80, instead. I've caught and proved it on both rings, and chains from both ebay and Ali.)
