The listing, GAMEBOY POKEMON GOLD tested save does not work - needs new save battery - Nintendo Game Boy has ended.

This is for a Nintendo Gameboy POKEMON GOLD

This was tested and the SAVE DOES NOT WORK. The save battery needs to be replaced. The game will play but the save will not offer "continue" option when starting the game up. There are Youtube instructions and tutorials on how to do replace the battery, I just haven't had the time to do it.

The label has wear, and the previous owner made scratches with what looked to be a knife.

This will be shipped in a bubble mailer with tracking.

Check the Youtube tutorials, depends on your definition of easy. Easy for me, just time consuming.
