i think if you use it with cricket you have to get it flashed over

esn is the number under the battery. Clear esn means that no money or back balance is owed on the account, if the esn is not clear the person purchasing the phone can not activate it so it is important to know. If you are un sure call the provider and ask them if it's clear. All you have to do is give them the number behind the batter that says esn on it

oh so probably would be. Can you look under the battery for me and give me the number, maybe I can call sprint and ask them if it can be activated through them. I am very interested in this phone but only if it can be activated through sprint. I am guessing since it has the sprint logo it can be.
