The listing, Beautiful Handmade Lavender Shawl or Hip Scarf has ended.

This is a very pale purple Handmade Shawl or Hip Scarf for Belly Dancers. The are beautifully hand made Scarfs. That either go around the shoulders or can be tied around the waist as either a swim cover or a Belly Dance hip scarf. This is another remainder from our Brick and Mortar Store. We had a community room in the store and we had belly dance class and many of our dancers bought these to wear during their practices or as part of their costumes. This one is Lavender and has some beautiful flowers in the pattern flowers in the pattern. I did my best to take pics of the of the beautiful lace patterns in the design. This is Brand New with no tags. (There is really no way to tag these)

I am really glad you asked that question because somehow a whole paragraph is missing from this auction. This is a remainder from my multi faith metaphysical shop that I had to close due to illness. We both sold and burned incense in the store. Otherwise these have been stored in boxes. So if you are extremely offended by the smells of over a hundred types of incense then be aware that this is an issue. I really appreciate you taking the time to ask because I want every one to be aware of that. -Namaste

Okay thanks for responding so quickly and I am sorry you had to close your shop. I ask because I personally have allergies and asthma. I don't care too much about the "smells" of items, my concern is if they will trigger an allergy/asthma reaction. So you're welcome and I have learned I have to ask if it isn't listed. I may still bid on it though, my aunt belly dances and dances tribal style, so this would work for her and wouldn't adversely effect her health. I plan on getting back into dancing tribal it at some point, it was a lot of fun but I was too unhealthy due to being severely overweight when I started it to really keep up and enjoy it fully.

Health concerns are the reasons why I normally list the incense. So far no one has complained about any item that was in my shop but I have also stated that we sold and burned incense in the store. If you are in to belly dance and tribal dance I have two of the coin hip skirts (I can't think of the name but you swing your hips and you jingle.) that I am planning to put up on Listia. They are also left over from the shop. We had belly dancing classes two days a week at the shop. Thank you so much for your comments about closing the doors but I got my first tumor when I was 33 and by the time I was 36 had Cancer so badly I could no longer run the shop and do treatment so the bad news is I closed the door but the good news is we think we managed to get all the Cancer out of my body. I appreciated your comment about closing the doors. I was very sad for me but I have a very young son and my survival became more important. I read about your aunt when I was checking out your auctions and you have my heart during your families' challenging time. Love and Light to all of you -Namaste

I'm very glad that you are doing better regarding your health issues and I understand 100% why closing your doors was necessary. I believe everything in life happens for a reason, even the negative things we may experience, and things work out the way they are supposed to. I know sometimes for some people it is hard to feel that way when life gets really difficult for people, for whatever reason. I appreciate your positive energy and the love sent out in my family's direction. Unfortunately my grandmothers cancer was not curable or operable and she passed away here at home 3 days ago after slipping into a coma and remaining in a coma for two long days, due to other health issues she had. It was very hard for our whole family, especially the last two days she was in a coma. But at least she got her last wish, which was to pass away in her own home, not some hospital somewhere and at least she wasn't in any pain the last two days she was still living. In turn my heart goes out to you, your son, and the rest of your family, and I'm sending the same positive energy and love back in your direction.

I agree with you 100% on the way things happen. I am sorry about your grandmother and I honor the gift of your energy and your time to help your mom and your aunts out and even to send me a message of hope and health. Their is a lesson in every moment of our lives even if we don't want to learn it or be there. It is nice to meet a sort of kindred spirit when it comes to how we see even the not so great things in life. Thanks so much it has been a pleasure to "meet" you=)
