Why is front torn off??? If these are real classic, they could be real collector item if front was there. Are fronts missing on full box??

I have no clue why the fronts are torn off
They were given to me like that. 2 full boxes! They may be from a school or library sake. They are mostly Bantam reprints of classics. I just thought maybe someone would like to read them or use for crafts
