This Auction is for a Stunning Sterling Silver Phoenix that has slivers of Mother of Pear in the Wings. The detail on this piece is amazing. That is why I took so many close ups of the Pendant so that you could see the detail on different parts of the Pendant. Due to the size of this Pendant It is appropriate for a man or a woman. This really a very unique and stunning piece.

This Pendant is 1 and 14/16th " long not including the bail. With The beautiful bail it is 2 and 3/16th" long. At the Widest Point of the breath taking Wing this Pendant is 3/4" wide.

The phoenix is a sign of of rebirth. From Ashes come new life. Also in many different the Phoenix is also knows as the thunder bird. So it is an amazing powerful Symbol for ones life.

How is it stamped? I realize there is a photo, but too blurry for me to read. :)

.925 and the copy right mark. I am sorry you can't see the pic. I bought these from the artisans themselves. Feel free to take a look at my feedback I am giving pieces away in large numbers and everyone has been happy and no one has claimed to not get sterling Silver. The mark thing is not wholly true the way that people seem to believe it on Listia. I was the buyer and owner for my store. These are real sterling pieces with real stones in them. I bought them from all over the world directly from the people who made them. Again my apologies for the fuzzy picture. These are tiny marks and an old phone. If you are asking how physically was it "stamped" that is up to each craftsman choice and for the most part every artisan does it differently. So I hope I answered your question and if I did not understand it please let me know. I am giving stuff away for credits that can't even come close to matching the value of the items. Why? Because they were all sitting in boxes bringing no one any help or Joy. That is all I want for the person who gets this piece. That they are aided on their spiritual path or they are brought Joy.

You either have the piece speak to you or you don't I don't believe the metal itself should effect that. So yes your timing was perfect b/c I was very frustrated at the moment I read it and then all my frustration went away b/c someone seemed to "get it" lol -Namaste

I so agree.. I upcycle older pieces of sterling.. hate that so much history is being lost to scrapping.. so I try to create with wonderful pieces like this hoping to have someone fall in love and treasure the piece giving it a loving home.

I do really love that idea. I actually love this piece but I want someone who needs it to be able to use as opposed to sitting in a box unused and unloved. Sadly because of the price of Silver being on the rise, you are right a whole lot of scraping is going on because in this economy things have to give and stretch. So if a family comes up short the first things that go are considered "decorative." It is sad but true.
