I would think probably under any hat and I think in summer they prob keep the sweat down under a ball cap and winter prob warm under a hat.

I was thinking the hats could be worn on a windy day when is it not cold outside. Keeps the wind out of the child's ears. My grandson always gets a runny nose on a windy day even when it is not cold outside. I think the hats would be perfect for covering his ears.
