This is one of my steampunk masterpieces that has a soft touch look to it.Its Kind of Glamerous,yet its still has that strong steampunk realism to it , Im going to let the pictures do most of the talking on this piece.
The watch casing came from an old elegant Elgin watch that no longer worked that i got as part of a Lot at an estate sale , i took it apart 3 years ago and had a vision for it,The jewels that are in it came with the watch.They could very well be Diamonds, i think they are , even though i had no way to test it.I know i cant sell this on this auction as if they were diamonds. But somone might be a rich person if they are.I am selling this as a piece of art , and the time and Designing i put into this. I kind of like the mystery , of someone getting this , and they Being Diamonds.There must be like 7 Karats of what might well be Diamonds,WOW.
I started off this piece , by filling by layers of clear resin, as i placed the gears and springs and other watch parts layered,and i kept the jewels(might be Diamonds) loose on the top layer,so they move around Freely,while you walk.Yes they are Loose under the watch face crystal, Like they were when the watch was whole.Then i have embellishments on the outside of the watch and my vision of this piece. This is totally a one of a kind piece.You wont find anything resembling this necklace any where.Their is a brass wing with a green stone , and a crystal on the stone, and last but not least whats a steampunk finish without a fancy vintage looking skeleton key also with a crystal on it.

Most of this watch is made with Antique Watch parts ,Im thinking i want to add a Fancy antique winding crown to this before the end of this Auction as well, if i do , Ill put a picture of it.
This watch has a 23 inch antiqued strong wide chain to hold this awsome Pendant

Ok, now I'm officially jealous. I truly envy your talent. This work of art is astounding. Diamonds or not, it's much more valuable the way it is, it's a true piece of art and it's oblivious you put your heart and soul into it. You could easily sell this for several hundred dollars, I think it's incredible of you to list it here so some very lucky person who could otherwise never be able to own anything of this caliber other wise will win it. I also admire your playful, positive attitude. It's so refreshing. You're a marvelous person. If I hadn't just spent all my credits on supplies, I've just started trying my hand at the same type if art, but nothing of this quality yet, I'd bid in a heart beat. But now I can show my daughter and then she won't think I'm do strange for taking apart about six of my dead watches and keeping the pieces. So I'm grateful to you. Good luck and bless you, Janet

Juanita your a great crafting artist as well Juanita trust me id rather be selling this on a selling site like Etsy , But it doesnt seem like i understand how to market things on their , and i wouldnt get its worth on Ebay. But my peices have sold for alot in the past.I just need a good site to sell them on, which i havnt found yet . I used to sell them on a site that shut down , and thats where i sold them for what i wanted.

NLY , i used to enjoy, makeing lots of things like these , this piece was 3/4 of the way done, 4 years ago, i finally got to finish it up. I got very sick back then , and had lots of unfinished pieces ,in my illness i finally finished this , i want so badly to keep doing this, my body doesnt allow me any more , but im going to try to finish a couple more , and i will try to sell them on my etsy account, which i never had any luck selling anything , all i have on my etsy now , is hundreds of my Antique skeleton keys , that ive collected, thanks for asking , that was very special to me (ી(΄◞ิ౪◟ิ‵)ʃ)♥

thanks for your compliment! this is a one of a kind, that I made. I will search for watch pieces similar to this one, so I can create another one similar.
