I was tickled to find this stunning piece at an estate sale! It is GORGEOUS! Rather large, measuring a full 11 1/2 inches in diameter!
There are no chips or cracks that I can see, but there are a couple tiny smudges on the bottom.
I can find no stamps or markings, so I don't know the true age or origin of this beauty. The lady at the estate sale said it was given to her mother as a Christmas gift many, many years ago. She said her mother used it quite often, as she hosted many parties for country singers and their associates. (She was married to a country music producer!) I started to pry a little more, to see if I could find out just which singers had touched this dish (lol), but the lady got distracted by someone looking at an old photo album.
The detail is exquisite. So beautiful! Although the pictures don't do this fine piece justice, please see all of them!
