The listing, Violin With Case has ended.
This Violin is great for beginner, I paid $ 70.00 for it and took some lessons and realised that it"s not for me. With my medical condition it's too hard to practise as much as I should. Anyway It comes with the case , Two bows, resien, and book I paid $10.00 for. So heres the deal! get the points over 20.000 and I will pay shipping in the US otherwise winner pays exact shipping.
Questions & Comments
She said if bids went over 20k shipping would be free in US. - They're at 24k+ now, so USA shipping should be free, right? Hoping I can afford this!
"One thing I ask if you win this is to take it to a professional to tune it." I was a strings music major. Trust me when I say that you should run far away from any professional that would charge you money to tune a violin. Violin tuning is something that should be done every single time you play the instrument, and is easy to accomplish. If you are uncertain on how to tune a violin, there are several YouTube videos that can step you through it.
Well excuse me Mr. know it all , but I got it and started taking lessons and my instructor tuned it for me. And he didn't charge me. So if this is going to a beginner that has know idea on what they are doing . Then I suggest that you have someone that knows what they are doing tune it. I was just trying to help whomever out.
If you were to make this free shipping you would get a lot more bids than you have now, easily getting this up to 15,000 or more. But a lot of people can't afford to pay shipping, or don't have the means to. I would bid a LOT of there was free shipping
also the only defiance between a violin and a fiddle is the type of music you play with it. i really hope the person that gets this one puts it to good use
Thanks! Ya but to learn violin you have to keep your neck in one posission for some time and having a medical condition, I am unable to do that. One thing I didn't think of what I got the violin.
Violin is 24" L & 8 1/2" W at most. Case is 32" L & !0" W at most. It is a no name brand, Like I said I only paid $70.00 for it. It needs to be professionally tuned.
We have a violin that looks exactly like this at my school. If you think it's too hard to practice it's the violin not you. If you want to keep playing get one that's made out of real wood.
I played the violin from 4th grade through 8th grade. During the Summer after 8th grade my violin was stolen while I was out of state for summer vacation. My mother was never able to afford to replace it and my school district did not have the funding at high school level to supply instruments. I have always regretted that I gave it up.
I was so happy and proud the day my son came home excited about learning to play an instrument. He chose the violin with out any hesitation.
I was grateful that our towns only school district would supply his because I was worried about being able to afford to.
Unfortunately, the violin that he brought home is in very poor shape. This would be the best gift I can imagine giving him. Because it seems these days that the only thing kids are into is the latest technology. So the classical arts seem to be forgotten by most. Its a shame.
