I have here a beautiful Tibetan Solid Silver bangle. It measures 1" wide and is almost 8" long. It is a shiney piece and is adorned with the lucky elephant! Their are four of them along with elegant foliage to top this beautiful piece off! It weighs in at 36 ounces and will last a very long time w/the proper usage & care. Please keep in mind that Tibetan silver is not real silver, and usually contains no real silver. So, the weight doesn't really affect the value.

this ring is beautiful!!! but for educational purposes solid silver from tibet, and "tibetan silver" are two very different things. the term"tibetan silver" is usually used to describe material used primarily in jewelery components, and is similar to pewter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibetan_silver

What is Tibetan silver? Is it marked?

The term tibetan silver is is used to describe silver alloy with about 20% real silver in the alloy. Buyers and sellers beware, there are many alloys out there now which contain many harmful metal such as lead. Some of the companies out there are now selling Tibetan silver and there is actually no silver content at all. When you say it is almost 8" long, do you mean from one end of the bangle to the other? That seems very large for a bracelet. Great unique piece!

As you can see in the picture it fits like a cuff, but the length is almost 8" long so you may make it smaller or pull on it a bit for a larger wrist. Thanks for asking.
