in the victorian era the drink of chojce for the well to do was cocoa.not the kind we are used to today but a different blend.the pots they served the cocoa in were called chocolate pots.you can always tell one by their shape.very tall and graceful with the pour spout at the very top of the pot.they are always the shape that you have and they always came with matching cups.yours is a really pretty piece.they used to be sought after bt collectors, but not too much anymore.i don't know why because they are always beautiful things.
