DIY Sewing/Quilt Punch Art

• All punches needed to complete sewing die cuts (2 quilt blocks, 1 pair of scissors, 1 “love to quilt” legend) & additional sewing themed punches to create a quilting scrapbook/card layout.
• Materials also needed: scissors (real ones – not the punches - lol!), adhesive, markers, single hole punch, etc.
• Example of quilt squares in Photo 2 (not included).

Quilt Block:
• 2 squares (2")
• 2 squares (1 3/4")
• 2 squares (1/2")
• 2 quilt stars (1 1/2")
• 1 twelve point star (1")
• 2 mini hearts

Spool Of Thread:
• 2 kraft paper flower pots to make a “spool” for the thread(1 ¼”)
• 5 curved line punches to make thread (2”)

Pair Of Scissors:
• 1 colored scissor (2”)
• 2 silver scissors (2”)

Legend:
• 11 letters – “LOVE TO QUILT”
• 1 scalloped rectangle (3”)

Sewing Themed Punches:
• 1 silver flower pot - “thimble” (1 ¼”)
• 6 buttons (1/4”)
• 5 safety pins (1/2”)
• 2 hearts (2 ½”)
• 1 scalloped circle (3”)
• 6 "X" punches (cross-stich)

MY PUNCH TIPS

• Rough edges on the punches ("chads") can be removed with an emery board.
• Don't throw away the mis-punches; you can use them on the edge of the page or card – glue on the edge and simply trim off what you don't need. I include one or two extra punches to account for any miss-punches.
