This book tells the story of a beautiful but snobby Siberian Husky in a shelter, that has three days to find a home*. She soon discovers that being beautiful isn't enough to get adopted. In her rollercoaster ride to find a home she discovers, the one's that really love us can see in us what we often do not.
* I must state the following about the content of this book. This is in essence a true story about a dog I adopted and loved for nearly 16 years. However, this book (for dramatic purposes only) takes place in a shelter that puts animals to sleep. Having said that, Because this is a childrens book it DOES NOT OPENLY DISCUSS THAT TOPIC, it merely stresses the need to find a home.
This book is meant to engage children with the wonderous colorful images and funny antic of the animals in the story. It is also meant to encourage families to ADOPT a pet from ANY type of SHELTER, because all shelter pets deserve a loving home.
