Damascene "Damasquinado de Oro or "Damasquino" is the art of decorating non-precious metals with gold. It has roots in the Middle Ages and originates from the oriental-style artisan work done in Damascus, Syria.

These are not stamped so I doubt they are gold. I bought them for my mom in Toledo, Spain and she never wore them. It was time to give them away.

These are beautiful. If you want more pictures just ask.
