If they are in these formats or you can convert them on computer to 1 of them.

Does this just read e books ? I need something that will download a talking book and read it back to me while I am sewing....could this do that??

I don't know if you can download e books and immediately play them. The format may need to be converted to MP3. It does have good audio and stereo speakers.
