The cap comes off if that's what you mean. It still has a musky smell when you remove the cap. There is no perfume in it, but you can smell the perfume that was once there. I don't believe it's ever been cleaned out (rinsed) or anything.

There are no markings or words that I can see. Idk if there are any under the decorative metal "casing". It is however old and weathered some. I didn't want to ruin it by trying to clean it up, so it is left as is.
