Vintage lavender necklace & matching cluster earrings!

This is one of my grandmother's older necklace sets. The color is absolutely gorgeous & the round beads are fabulous!

If you love and collect vintage, you will probably recognize the quality of this set. I have searched, but can't find a comparable set out there.

I believe the round beads are glass - they have beautiful swirls inside - & are separated by small gold toned round beads & then two 5-pointed flower shaped lavender plastic beads. The gold-toned hook styled clasp is heavily tarnished & shows wear, & the small gold-toned beads also show tarnish. The glass beads & plastic flower beads are in excellent condition.

The matching earrings are cluster style, with a glass center bead & the plastic flower/gold beads surrounding the center. The gold tone backs are also tarnished.

Even with the serious need of heavy cleaning for the tarnished areas, this set is AMAZING. The colors are so incredible. Given a little love, care & cleaning - this set will be awesome! If you like to make jewelry, these vintage beads would make a stunning custom set!

I found a beautiful pink necklace & earrings, somewhat newer but still vintage, that also need love. The necklace is about 26" long with the clasp closed; it measures about 53" long open! These beads are not glass - there are 5 larger beads, separated by 12 smaller beads, a silver-tone bead & 12 more smaller pink beads.

As always, I strongly recommend re-stringing vintage beads, even though this set feels very sturdy.
