The listing, Gorgeous Vintage Green & Black Bead Necklace has ended.
Another beautiful selection from my grandmother's jewelry cache. This necklace is in excellent condition and sure to draw compliments whatever it's worn with!
Please look at all the photos to see how special this necklace really is!
Stunning vintage (1950's) 3-strand green and black bead necklace marked "Japan" on the hook-style clasp.
This necklace is really fantastic! I'm not sure what the beads are made of - they aren't glass, but they don't really feel like plastic either. Three graduated strands of beads - each strand has 7 center beads: a large center green bead with smaller black beads on each side, a stunning faceted AB bead outside the black beads, followed by another, smaller green bead. Center beads have beautiful gold decorative end caps separated by clear gold pony beads. The black and gold beads are brushed with gold - really a beautiful effect!
The shortest strand of beads measures almost 13" from end to end and there is a 3" extender.
All Listia rules apply. The item is vintage and has been worn so is sold "as is." The necklace is in excellent condition and feels "sturdy" but I always strongly recommend that vintage beaded necklaces be re-strung.
This really is a lovely necklace and sure to be cherished as a special piece, especially for all the vintage jewelry lovers out there!
