Hi everyone, I have for you today a very special piece.
This made in Japan Rhinestone Expansion Bracelet is a book piece. That is it is featured in a Reference book of jewelry and is valued at 100.00. Wow, I was surprised, although happy. In the forties people of the USA gave up gold and silver for the war effort. Jewelry expanded to new heights with manufacturers wanting it to look as real as possible to make up for the real thing. Some of the best costume jewelry came from between 1940's & 1960's. I have a lot of that and older so keep you eyes out for me. Back to this bracelet, at rest it is 2 1/2 in. across but will expand like a watch band does/did, UP TO 8 1/2 IN. All the rhinestones are in tact and are clear and sparkly.
