The listing, Gold Tone Pocketwatch has ended.

For your consideration is a gold tone limited edition commemorative ( 1886/1986) quartz pocket watch. The winding stem is broken off. I do not know if it can be repaired to work or not. Also is a gold tone watch fob. The outside of the watch has the Statue of Liberty on one side and a landing eagle on the other. They are a raised stamping. The catch and hinge are fine. It looks new and shiney inside and out. It measures about 1 1/3" in diameter. I will ship for $2 payable through PayPal. PLEASE, if you cannot pay the shipping within 3 days, DO NOT BID. I will relist after 7 days of the close of the auction unless arrangements have been made. All questions are welcome!

Does it need a battery ??

I don't know if it is battery operated or not. I can't find a way to open the back.

Don't take the back off - if it is not running it needs a battery. Most quartz watches do by the time they come on Listia so no big deal. On the watch face it says it is Quartz (which is good) which means it runs on batteries.
