I wanted to place this item into collectables, instead of antiques because of it's intrinsic value. This is a rare find for my Listia friends!...It is a large, 3 piece master tea set by Massachusetts silversmith, F.B. Rogers 1883 Silver Company!. The set consists of two large vessels for holding tea, plus a very large master vessel of 15" high!, with the signature silver oil lamp beneath, which tends to be missing in these sets...this one even still has the full wick!. The set is pure silver over copper, which was typical in the 1883 stamp sets (if Sterling, you'd be bidding this on Christys.com..lol). This set is also in excellent condition, which is also rare....it should be a real fun auction!...happy bidding and enjoy:))
