I've opened the box and read the instructions. It seems that these are sun catchers but while I was reading, I took it as you can hang it up anywhere. It says to find a place to hang it on your window. It also says you can hang them anywhere in your room to hang. I believe you have to use the items in the package. It says you have to use the mesh and sun catcher included in the package. If you need anymore information, you can go to www. GlitterLava.com
