The listing, Hitachi Deskstar HD has ended.

160gb HD came out of a HP Pavillion a6683w desktop. Windows Vista Home Basic is installed but can be upgraded to your needs. The Photos are pretty clear on the specs. Any questions, Just Google the info you see to find your answer. I will also answer any relevant questions to the best of my knowledge. YES, IT DOES WORK!! lol. Upgraded the HP tower for gaming.

SATA I is 1.5 GB/S
SATA II is 3 GB/S which is what this drive is
SATA 3 is 6.0 GB/s

Is it PATA(80Mb/s), SATA I(not sure), SATA II(3gb/s), or SATA III(6gb/s).
Most likely SATA II but I'm asking just in case.

It clear states its a Sata 3 if you look at the 2nd Picture. under the drive capacity. 160GB
