The listing, French Policeman Brandy Bottle Figural Ceramic Decanter Mid century Vintage Japan has ended.

Brother piece to my bourbon bottle, this mid century 1950s ish brandy bottle is much the same.
A figural ceramic clay piece, low fired and glazed with handpainted detailing. Stamped japan on the bottom. He seems to be a french policeman , complete with cap, bottle of wine, cape, and nightstick and star badge.

Approx 9 inches tall.
Glaze has crackling.
The cork on the head stopper piece is in good condition but it doesn't go in all the way, so he has a slightly comical long necked expression. :)

It says brandy on his pant leg.
