Description

The listing, AUGUST - Josh Hartnet - DVD has ended.

At the end of March 2001, the dot-com market went into a downward freefall, but LandShark, an Internet company run by the cocky Tom Sterling (Josh Hartnett), seemed to come through the crash still glistening with the aura of success. In August, however, the company faces serious financial troubles, and everyone except for Tom seems to be coming to terms with that fact.

~RATED R for language and some sexual content~

The film also stars
Naomie Harris (Sarrah), Adam Scott (Joshua Sterling), Robin Tunney (Melanie Hanson), Andre Royo (Dylan Gottschalk), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Morela Sterling), David Bowie (Cyrus Ogilvie) and Rip Torn (David Sterling).

**DVD is in great condition - I watched the film once & it played smooth - I just checked the disk itself & don't see any scratches at all**

Sorry folks USA Only
If you are overseas & really want the DVD its your responsibility to not only cover costs but ensure it's safe arrival.

To the winner I say ENJOY THE FILM!!!

So would you say it is worth seeing? Saw the preview...just not sure if it has a worthwhile ending...:does it?

I would say without giving anything away... there is some realism in the film.
I guess "worthwhile" is in the opinion of the viewer. Do U want it to end all fairytale with roses or do you want it to play out more like real life. Either way... Can't tell ya since it wouldn't be fair to those who don't want the whistle blown.

Well I guess that's why I asked if it was worthwhile vs asking for the ending :) But did you like the film in general? Would you recommend it?

Its a dark drama, I think it did a good job portraying the time & situation. I loved David Bowie & his addition to the film. It was pretty good. You can't ask me for opinions on movies. I didn't like Batman (I'm going down for that one I know it) but then again I don't really focus on just story lines when I watch movies either.

I edited both your auctions to remove the part about shipping to the continental US only. To use the "free shipping" option, it must be unconditionally (but you listed a condition, continental US only).

I wanted to let you know that as long as you're shipping by USPS, shipping to Alaska and Hawaii (and the US territories) are no more expensive than anywhere else in the country.

If you'd like to keep your condition of continental US only, you certainly can, but you'd have to change your auction to "buyer pays shipping". (Since it's possible that parts of the US would have to pay a shipping cost). You don't have any bids yet, so you can edit your auction (or message me if you need help).
