Description

The listing, Replica of Queen Victoria's Wedding Gown Crochet Pattern has ended.

This pattern book is Volume 43 in the series, "Crochet Collector Costume" by Paradise Publications. It is a copy of Queen Victoria's wedding gown. Yes, that Queen Victoria. Instructions included are the gown, the train, the tiara and veil, bloomers, shoes, bouquet and her hair style. There is some sewing involved in this one--lots of lace, but the finished doll is priceless.

Be sure you read the entire offering and realize what you are going to receive if you win. I do not do GINs or change the length of the the auction time. No buyer remorse allowed! If you have an issue once you receive the item, please contact me.

I ship three times a month: the 1st, the 19th and the 4th Wednesday of each month. If you win on the 3rd, you may have to wait for shipping until the 19th. I always offer free shipping in the USA. If you need your item before my next shipping date, you can volunteer to pay the exact shipping fee via Paypal. If that bothers you, please bid elsewhere. All Listia rules apply.

You are very clear on your auction and that is so nice to see. Love the dress. Can you tell me if the pattern calls for a #10, #20 or #30 crochet thread?

I use #10 and a 6 or 7 steel hook for all of these patterns. They fit beautifully. I'd post a photo of a doll in a dress, but I'm sure that would create confusion for a lot of folks who don't read the descriptions. I just finished a ruffled ball gown that is so sweet on the doll.

I bought dozens of these when I was working and could afford them. The plan was to save them for my retirement. If I've done them more than three times, I get bored with the pattern, so am offering them on Listia.
