Description
The listing, Safflower Seeds (50 seeds) has ended.
Safflower bloom in red, yellow and orange flowers. They are a good flower for drying. They make an excellent food for small songbirds. Plant seeds away from foot traffic as the plants are covered in stiff spines. The plants grow up to 3 feet tall. Plant in late April and May for July harvest. Wearing gloves remove the seeds by crushing the dried flowers. You can expect 15 to 20 seeds per flower.
