The listing, Salt and pepper set with tray has ended.

I think they are either silver or pewter...There is a marking on the tray that says "made in occupied Japan". My Mom had these forever, not sure of the age of them. I had cleaned them up once a LONG time ago, the got very shiny, and nice, but have been packed away for years.
