I call this my "educational mix" due to the fact this is what I used to learn how to identify gems-- at least in their polished states!

So many tumbled stone mixes are notorious for cutting their blends with common minerals like rose quartz. I get this mix from a reputable source, and it's always surprising to see what comes to me. I've seen stones such as calcite, tourmaline quartz, jade, serpentine, all sorts of jaspers, carnelian, agates, banded amethyst, chrysophase, jet, moonstone, and more.

While no mix is guaranteed as to what kinds are in there, a variety WILL be guaranteed.

Most stones in this mix range between 15mm and 30mm, which makes them perfect for carrying around and using in jewelry applications.

As far as grading goes, most gems have a great shine to them, some even top grade. A few gems, due to natural textures and crags, will have rough spots. This just comes with the territory of Mother Nature's gifts.
