@ aladyinneed and @killerchickens42.....is this the way you treat the new people of Listia? I have seen plenty auctions on here where the photographer sends a copy of their photos through email. The way I see it...she retains all rights to her sketch and she can distribute it as she sees fit. If you feel like right clicking it and saving it...you will only get a small copy of this sketch and then you could be liable for copyright infringement. I think you owe our new member an apology. Try helping out instead of being so snide!!!!!!

She is in compliance with Listia's rules and regulations...if you can show her a rule that she is breaking, I am sure she will send out the original. Until then, allow her to list her auction as she sees fit, you list your auctions as you see fit and go throw a tantrum on someone else's auction!! If you have a problem...take it to Listia...until then, STOP TRASHING HER AUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just letting everyone know that I have worked out the kinks in my way of getting the winner the Print. Thank you for everyone's input, I am very new to this site and now have it figured out for the most part. Thank you for all of your kind comments and as for the rude ones...these postings and auctions are just for fun. I love what I do and I love sharing what I do. Getting snippy isn't really necessary. Smile a little and it will make you feel a ton better. A little word of advice...welcome new people, explain to them how things work from your experience, don't shun them or put them down because they aren't quite sure how things work. It makes you seem like an awful person. Have a blessed day Listia and good luck. :)

You will EMAIL a copy to the winner? When all we have to do is right click and save it and it's free LOL! Sorry but if you are going to do auctions I'd think you would send threw the postal mail to the winner the ORIGINAL REAL SKETCH you are trying to auction off, you are showing up for grabs. Otherwise whats to stop us all from simply right clicking and saving it for ourself?

cocos_mama sent me an email and I am putting it here as a favor to a friend. I do not want to be involved any further than this message. She says:
"I'm sorry. I ment the person who had commented above me (TRENTandSUSIE) was rude; not the auction lister. I thought the lister was the one who made the comment; but I see now that it was TRENTandSUSIE. When I was under the impression that the lister made the comment I blocked him/her; which was wrong of me. I was simply trying to agree with the other two people who had commented above and at the same time disagree with the way T&S chose to respond. To me he/she seems rude. I have unblocked the lister and apologize to him/her. I understand if he/she does not want to accept my apology or unblock me. -cocos_mama"

I just commented on your last listing so the second part of that comment also applies to this one about the drawing itself.
As far the actual listing goes, as an artist myself I have to tell you that I think giving this at least as a print is better than sending through email. It doesn't do your work justice to let someone else print it out not knowing what the quality is going to end up looking like. Many artists sell prints of their work as a way to hold on to their originals. Of course this is your listing and I'm sure many wouldn't mind printing it out themselves. I'm only commenting because I wanted to help after you asked me for feedback and I have some experience in art and listing it on Listia. I hope I helped you at least a little and I hope you take everything as positive :)

I also agree, offering to email a copy, a copy of the original, is not the same as sending the actual artwork. I can save this image and increase the size. I can put it in photoshop or paint or PPT and do with it what I want. You pretty much give the copy to everyone when you post it here. I do a lot of drawings and post them on here, mostly special order drawings, but this sending a copy via email is just not the same.

My daughter wants this picture. It is beautiful and I will bid to get a bigger copy. I too am fairly new to this Listia thing, but for the most part has been fun. I should not have read all the comments here though as some people can be very hateful and rude. I draw with pastels, but have never been able to capture the essence of people. I appreciate your work and hope to be the winner of this auction.

Thank you very much, I see you are top bidder right now. Good luck. I have tinkered with pastels and charcoal here and there. I am drawn to portraits though. lol. All forms of art catch my attention. Id love to see some of your drawings.
