Labeled 1915 Thompson & Co. Inc. Comes with brass colored humidifier and hygrometer, and also a box divider to keep your cigars organized. The interior is Spanish Cedar and the exterior is a dark cherry stain, has small scratches on top due to storage.

A cigar humidor is a box (or room) designed to store and age cigars within the optimal humidity range of 68 % to 72% at room temperature. A humidor must contain a humidification system or device to add (or remove) moisture from its interior space to maintain the desired level of humidity. A humidor usually contains a hygrometer to measure the humidity level inside the box. Most personal humidors are made of wood, with the inside usually constructed with Spanish cedar.

This comes with everything needed to operate? I am clueless when it comes to this stuff, but my dad smokes cigars and I think he would like this for Christmas. Fanned, watching, and possibly bidding. (I also responded to your comment about my auction, too)

Yes this one comes will all you need. It has a pad you put water on and that goes in one of the brass objects on top and the other lets you know what amount of humidity you are keeping, so you can keep your cigars super fresh! This was my husbands hobby, so I don't know as much as he does, but it smells wonderful in this humidor!! Spanish Cedar is a really nice scent and it is the perfect wood to store your cigars with! Hope this helps!
