These are a marvelous Heirloom tomato with a deep chocolate/purple/brown color. If you like to just eat tomatoes then these you need to grow. They can get up to 1lb but generally run around 12-14 ounces. I tell everyone that the heirlooms are not the prettiest tomatoes in the world but they have the best flavor. I eat them right out of the garden while harvesting.
