Wouldn’t it be great if you could use your NintendoDS like a portable media center? Wouldn’t it be good to listen to your mp3s, watch videos and see your holiday photos on it?
Guess what. You can. All you need is this little device called the R4DS (or R4 Revolution). The R4 should be an essential component for every DS owner to enhance their experience.
The R4DS works as an adaptor for your DS to transfer data with a micro SD card, the type you might use in a digital camera or mobile phone (not included in thhis auction).
First you need to put your applications and files on your SD card from your computer. Following that, simply plug your SD card into the R4, then the R4 into your Nintendo DS. Then you can use whatever files and applications are stored on the SD card in your NDS.
The applications can be downloaded from the Internet for free. The types of applications you can expect range from music players, image viewers and calculators to card games and homemade platform games.
On top of this, using the R4DS, you can back-up all your current DS games onto an SD card.
The R4DS is NOT illegal (you can buy them from Amazon).

NOTE: This particular Flash Cart will only work for the DS and the DS Lite, not DSi or 3DS.
ALSO: A MicroSD card is NOT the same as a MicroSDHC. This uses a MicroSD ONLY (2 GB or less).

The first two photos are of what you'll be receiving, BRAND NEW IN PACKAGE. The second two photos are of my DS with an R4i that I've been using for years. The difference between the R4 that's listed and the R4i that's in my personal DS is the size of the MicroSD that is used.
