On Listia, if the shipping is free then you don't have to pay a dime. If you have enough credits in your account to bid on something and you win it, then it's yours. It's the same as an eBay transaction only there is no money involved unless the seller requests the winner to pay for half or all of the shipping. Most of the auctions here on Listia have free shipping! I have been on Listia for a long time and I've bought and sold stuff here, most of it for free shipping! This stuff is real and you actually receive the item you won most of the time! I say most of the time because, just like eBay you will occasionally run across a seller who doesn't hold up there end of the bargain but there isn't that many. Plus if that happens, just inform Listia and you will get your credits back no problem. You can usually tell a bad seller apart from the others by their rating left by other people they've dealt with.

Overall, Listia is a great place to buy/sell stuff without using actual money most of the time! It's definitely worth it. =)
