Looks like the elastic is great. What size waist would you say they fit comfortably (w/out too much stretch) & what is the leg length ?

They are size large. They would fit a size large waist without too much stretch. The could also fit a size XL waist but be a little snug or a size medium waist but be a little baggy. But these are definitely large. from elastic to end of shorts it is 22.5 inches. From the V at the inseam it is 10.5 inches.
