Why did they quit making these? I only remember the small wooden mouse traps.

Didnt even know this company made mouse traps at all. I only knew them from hole punches. Not sure why they stopped. Seems like a miniature bear trap would be very effective.

Yes, the bear traps like that were outlawed many years ago for being inhumane. A bear would literally chew its paw off, to get away. Undue suffering for the bear. I'm seriously wondering if the same thing happened with this mouse trap? Yes, I have to agree with you that it would be very effective. It just dawned on me, I've seen these traps in the Tom and Jerry cartoons, on tv. LOL =D But, as for real life, these had to be before my time, because I don't remember the real ones. =D
