The listing, Vintage Hand-Sewn Cloth Doll by Washington Artist Carol Lynn Kirchner Beautiful has ended.
Up for consideration is a beautiful cloth doll made by Washington artist Carol Lynne Kirchner in 1985. This all-cloth doll was lovingly hand sewn as was her darling outfit. She is sporting a lovely floral dress with a striped pink apron and striped undershorts. She has pink ribbons in her black yarn hair, and a pretty hand-stitched eyes and mouth. I especially like the skin tone of this doll--she can represent many different races: African American, Native American, Latina, Asian, Caucasian. She is at once one doll and every doll, perfect for any girl, little or big.
This doll is signed and dated on her back by artist Carol Lynn Kirchner. Carol still resides in Kirkland, Washington, and in the last 30 years she has really made her place in the art world. She currently paints and makes beautiful wood block prints. Carol is definitely a multi-talented artist!
This sweet doll is 22" long, a nice size for holding and hugging. She is in excellent condition. She may be 30 years old, but she certainly doesn't look it. This doll needs a new home; consider adopting her today!
Shipping is free for Listians with verified addresses. I have a smoke-free home with two dogs, but they haven't been playing with the doll (I hope!). Let me know what I can answer for you--I'm usually pretty quick to respond, but when I have many auctions running at the same time sometimes I miss a question or two so just holler again.
Thanks for viewing my auction!
