*Prints seem to be over 50 years old; the back store price sticker says 25 cents (see last 2 pictures above)
*Pinkie - artist: Thomas Lawrence, painted in 1794
*The Blue Boy - artist: Thomas Gainsbororogh, painted in 1770
*Condition: Excellent


Pinkie is famous because of its association with the portrait, The Blue Boy. Pinkie and The Blue Boy are often paired together. And, some gallery visitors mistake them for contemporary works by the same artist. Actually, the two were created about 25 years apart by two different painters. The subjects' dress styles are separated by over 150 years! The two works had NO association until Henry Huntington purchased them in the 1920s!
