Up for auction is a seed mix of Zinnia Semi-Dwarf Pumila of a variety of colors.

This favorite variety of Zinnia produces an abundance of 2 to 3 inch fully double flowers in shades of rose*, red*, white*, yellow*, orange*, magenta* and soft pink* from Summer to frost. The semi–dwarf flowers will germinate in 10 days or less, and mature to 18 to 24 inches tall with sturdy stems. Ideal for beds, borders and cottage gardens, as well as for container gardens.

The seeds should be sewn in a sunny location with well-drained, fertile soil in early spring after all danger of frost has passed. Rough in the soil surface to a depth of 3 inches and remove any weeds. Distribute seed evenly over the planting area. Rake in the seed lightly to adapt not to exceed 1/4 inch. Can't down seed by rolling are walking over seeded area. Keep the planting area consistently moist for 4 to 6 weeks. Seeds will germinate in 10 days or less under normal growing conditions. Seed may also be sewn in containers.

The winner will receive at least 10 seeds and a shot glass full of the mix, which I assume has fertilizing, or moisture retention, properties.
