I wore this and it is VERY HOT for me! Excellent for COLD weather. I discovered my preference for faux fur - less hot for me.
I made this many years ago as a sewing project in High School and got an A! Lol, so it's for a medium husky or large or smaller XL. Safe to say it's for an average adult or a big high schooler

I wouldn't iron this, and I always have washed this cold and dried this on tumble low. I don't want to know what would happen if you dried it on high or ironed it.

I sew really well u would not want to see my sewing project from.high school....this is very cool! Do u think it would fit an xl okay, my niece is an xl and nerds a warm jacket, she wears xl tops, what do u think?

Yes, I believe so. This coat does not stretch and measurements were taken with the zipper fastened.
Armpit to armpit: 28"
Back of the neck to back waist hem: 28"
Waist hem across: 28" (or 56" around)
Armpit to hand wrist hem: 18"

I am going to send the measurement in an email to my niece and let her measure but I think this will fit her!!!! Do u sew on the side? For extra cash? Let me know I have a really needed sewing project to be done before Christmas...I have the fabric I just need it sewn and no one around here is good or they want an arm and a leg! Let me know it is a present I wanted to give to my grandmother when I go to NY for Christmas!
