Description

The listing, Olympus Digital Voice Recorder VN-1800 has ended.

Very, slightly used voice recorder with built-in microphone. Measure 3.25" x 1.25". Takes 2 AAA batteries. Has a clip on the side to use in securing in a pocket or ... Bought this for work years ago and never used it. Just put the batteries in recenlty and it works. Was able to figure out how to set date and time without instructions. Recorded a test message without any problems. Olympus indicates this will hold 3 hours of recordings via flash memory. Current Amazon price for used is about $24.99, and is rated an average of 4 stars.

Sooo, if you need something to record memos to yourself about such lofty things as book ideas, philosphical mutterings, where you parked the car, or to dictate a letter, this is the auction for you. Also takes regular ear buds so that everyone else around you doesn't hear what you are reminding yourself about. :)

No outlet to connect to USB or any other type of connector. It's a stand alone with no transfer capabilities. I quess you could get an adaptor for the ear phone plug and connect it to the microphone outlet on your computer, then play from the unit and record to media. I don't have an adaptor to try this but I think it would work.
