I am so happy that someone like it. The guy I got it for turned out to be a bit of a jerk so I am happy for it to find a good home.

Thank you for your information. Like I said on the Auction info I got this for a friend and I have no knowledge of comic books so I took his word as to what it is. If I open it I think it decreases the value. I am not sure what to do. If I open it and it is as described then I have destroyed the comic. If I don't open it and it is not what he told me it was then I hurt who ever buys it. Any suggestions on what or how I can tell with out opening the package? Maybe I sould list it as the mystery comic. Now I am going to worry about this as I never want to upset anyone.

When you find something about an auction that may affect the sale it is polite to send a private message to the seller so they can make things right. It is not fair to post it on the site in comments unless the seller does not respond or corrects the auction. Oh I want to also add if you are a certified expert in comics then you have the right to make the comment in the auction comments. If you are not an expert please be nice and pass along the information in a private message. I will address this issue with the comic and let the bidders know what I find out. I will attempt to contact a expert in comice to be sure of its value and what comic it is. ** to anyone wanting to bid please hold off add the auction to the watch list and I will have an answer I hope later today.**

This is the death of Superman issue from the series back in the 90's. This is the issue where he comes back to life from the Action Comics and is the "Death of Superman" issue. Action comics was one of the oldest comics hence the #500. The other issue you are talking about is #75.

There were three or four issues of the Death of Superman, one from Action Comics, one from Superman, and one from The Adventures of Superman. They were all in the Death of series. This is truly one of those and I had not touched it since about 94. It is authentic!!!

Buy the way I think your comment may have killed my auction as no one will be sure of what they are getting unless the comic is opened and then they wont want it if it is opened. I may just ask Listia to close the auction and toss the stupid comic in the trash.
