The listing, Gently Used Blackberry Curve 8530 has ended.

This would be a perfect phone for a teenager who wants an upgrade. It does have some dings, but small ones. It does work and I have a car charger to throw into the pot! I used this for my business and recently upgraded! Great last minute Christmas present! The carrier is Boost Mobile. But you if you have a sim card you can insert and away you go!

does it have the walkie-talkie on it then? cause i was told that the only boost phones that use a sim card was for the chirp!!

No walkie talkie action here. Although it does have voice command. You can press a button on the side, tell it who to call and it will dial the phone for you.

Yes, however you would need to unlock the phone. You can google that and find out how to do that.

It takes both. The sim card is what you would use for your carrier so that you can have phone service. The SD card will allow you to add more storage space.

Yeah, definitely could use this. I have this exact phone right now, and the screen cracked a few weeks ago, and now the color is spreading all over the place. Does it still have a visible MEID code under the battery?

Boost offers sim and non sim service..I switched from a sim phone to a non sim. All you have to do is go online and change phones on your account.
Now i'm thinking about bidding on this phone and switching my service over again
