u had to bam it? please explain?..Does it burn a DVD with no errors? internal or external?

Well, when I have to press the eject button to open the drive to place or remove a disc inside, the drive will not open so I have to bam on it several times until I hear the drive hit the front and then I hit it one last time as soon as it's heard; it'll then open. It'll burn a DVD most of the times sometimes and sometimes, lately. It's internal.

It does look internal, external would usually have it's own stand. Is it Sata or IDE?
