Thank you, Donielle. Bid, bid, bid! Or you could use the get it now! When I was new and didn't have many credits, I actually purchased credits with cash in order to get some items I really wanted. That's always an option if you need more credits for the get it now? Good luck! I'm glad you like it!
That's nice! Be sure to add her name and address to your approved Listia addresses (you can have multiple addresses) so then the address you have them send me can be hers. That works nice. I did it for my grand daughters and had some hair bows sent to them. Just added their address to my list of addresses on my profile page.
Is this scarf crocheted or knitted? Beautiful pattern - just "joined" this today and don't know how this works - I would like to bid on this - so of course I don't have many points. Tell me how to bid and also do you share your pattern?
It is crocheted with just a single crochet stitch throughout and the same for the border, with fringe added. In order to bid, you put in the number of points you want to bid, hit the bid button, then confirm that's what you want to do by hitting the submit button. You have to remember that it won't let you bid more points than you have AND (very important) as long as you are ahead in the bidding, listia will put the number of credits you bid ON HOLD. You will not be able to use those credits on anything else. As soon as you are outbid, they will release those credits back to you. And if you win, they will take as many credits you need to buy the item out of the number you bid and refund the rest back to you. After you bid, it will only post the high bid as the amount needed to win the bid and then add more credits out of your bid as you need to raise it as other people bid higher. So don't just bid the minimum amount to get the high bid at the moment because it will probably go higher. Also, because your credits are put on hold as long as you are ahead, many people will wait until the end to put in their bid. That way if you see something you want more, you have all your credits to use. Hope that makes sense.
