If you are familiar with B Makowskys, it is very different.... They are known for there super soft leather, which is very beautiful, however, it marks easily... This handbag is more of a patent leather, will be easy to clean and will not mark at the slightest little rub or hit.... It's a nice bag..... Have a great day

I made a comment earlier that this handbag was more like a patent leather.... I have always thought patent leather was real leather, but more durable and with a little shine to it.... If patent leather is not a real leather, then my comment earlier was incorrect.... This handbag is real leather, this leather is easier to keep clean and easier not to mark up... If you are familiar with B Makowsky's, most of their handbags are made of a beautiful soft buttery leather, but it is also very easily marked....... Hope this clears up the leather question.....
