Description

The listing, Size 15 Stainless Steel Celtic Irish Claddagh Ring ♡*BNWT*♡ has ended.

This Auction is for a Size 15 Celtic Irish Claddagh Ring. This beauty is perfect for the Man in your life. (Remember Christmas is right around the corner) This is a Stainless Steel Band with the traditional Irish wedding "Claddagh" carved into it and is Black brushed giving it the antiqued look. The band is 9 mm tall (or roughly 3/8th") and the Claddagh design repeats four times around the band alternating the way the design is oriented as the design is repeated. Stainless Steel is the perfect material for a man's ring because it is virtually indestructible, it never tarnishes, and will look shiny new even after years of wear and tear. This could of be worn just as handsomely by a woman who wears this size. This is another remainder from our Brick and Mortar store and will arrive BRAND NEW WITH TAGS and in the BOX.

The Claddagh's distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart, and usually surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are often said to correspond to the qualities of love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown). Traditionally, if the ring is on the right hand with the heart facing outward and away from the body, this indicates that the person wearing the ring is not in any serious relationship, and may in fact be single and looking for a relationship: "their heart is open." When worn on the right hand but with the heart facing inward toward the body, this indicates the person wearing the ring is in a relationship, or that "someone has captured their heart".

The design and customs associated with it originated in the Irish fishing village of Claddagh, located just outside the old city walls of Galway and was first produced in the 17th century.
